ORGANIC TRADE & INVESTMENTS TO PARTAKE IN SHETRADES COMMONWEALTH DIGITAL SUMMIT 2021

Organic Trade & Investments is pleased to announce its selection to participate in the upcoming SheTrades Commonwealth Digital Summit, a 5-day virtual event, which is scheduled to come off from February 22- February 26, 2021.

The goal of the event is to provide a platform for women-owned businesses in the Commonwealth network, business support organisations, buyers, investors, and suppliers to connect and network, as well as share experiences, strengthen partnerships and discover new opportunities.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for Organic Trade & Investments to stimulate partnerships and activate dialogues on creating business opportunities that can equip women-owned businesses with the knowledge on how to scale up, diversify and extend their business frontiers globally,” remarked Ms. Ekuwa Saighoe, Communications Assistant at Organic Trade & Investments.

The Digital Summit is organised by the International Trade Centre (ITC) SheTrades; it is a framework that creates an enabling environment for women-owned businesses to flourish by providing opportunities for them to collaborate with partners to do business on a global scale. Additionally, ITC SheTrades provides online training and mentoring for women entrepreneurs to help them build their capacities. Organic Trade & Investments, an accredited beneficiary-member of the SheTrades Commonwealth since 2017, is one of the organisations that will benefit from the SheTrades Commonwealth Digital Summit 2021. As a Ghanaian, woman-owned Agribusiness, e-Commerce and export trading company, Organic Trade & Investments is dedicated to position itself as a force to reckon with in the production and distribution of African-made organic products in the international market. Organic Trade & Investments has grown to become one of the largest leading exporters and distributors of organic products in Africa.

“I personally look forward to connecting and networking with industry women. As a Data Analyst at Organic Trade & Investments, the SheTrades Commonwealth Digital Summit will help me to be aware of the latest trends in the Agribusiness industry,” remarked Ms. Dorcas Sika Tettey.

The SheTrades Commonwealth Digital Summit 2021 will focus on a different sector each day; also, registered participants will partake in networking sessions interspersed with masterclasses and workshops.
