For the past few months, Organic Trade and Investments has attended various fairs and exhibitions like; The 3rd LIPF Exhibition, The O&N Talk shop, and the Women in Agribusiness Awards.

In line with OTI’s vision to expand and embark on global activities, we are delighted to reveal that Organic Trade and Investments will be present at the next SheTrades Global Dubai, which was scheduled for 17-19 October 2021 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and online. Due to reasons beyond control, the program will be happening in 2022, late February, or early March. SheTrades Global stated in their new release that "We believe this change will allow for deeper participation, greater opportunities to network and better learning to build businesses. "

Dorcas Tettey, from the Research and Development Department, stated that she "is enlivened that OTI has been selected for this year’s fair."

She added that The “SheTrades Global Dubai is the premier global business event that connects export-ready women entrepreneurs with buyers, investors, and partners all over the world. This is an ideal and excellent opportunity for OTI to get exposure, forge lasting connections, meet investors and scale up as a company”.

Over 3000 participants around the globe will participate in person in Dubai and virtually in search of new trade and investment chances. The event will revolve around the theme of sustainability. The agenda for this fair includes inducements, clinics, and workshops led by experts, a hackathon, B2Bs and establishing contacts, and attendance at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Hundreds of business leaders, statesmen, impact investors and women entrepreneurs from over 90 countries will assemble to learn, exchange, and connect.

Previous versions of SheTrades Global, held in Ethiopia, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Brazil, Rwanda, Mexico, and China, included officials from over 85 countries and fostered over US$ 80 million of new business for women entrepreneurs. These sessions featured noteworthy panels with many of the world’s leading companies, government officials also representing.

This 8th edition is co-hosted by the International Trade Center (ITC) and Dubai Exports in partnership with Expo 2020 Dubai. ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. It is currently the sole development agency that is fully committed to championing the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the globe.
