Accra, Ghana – June 2026 – Organic Trade & Investments (OTI) has been officially invited to participate as an exhibitor at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra’s Green Stay Initiative, taking place on July 10, 2026. The event, themed “Healthy Food Options Not an Option: Promoting Healthy Nutrition for a Healthy Workforce,” is part of Mövenpick’s sustainability agenda and represents a new chapter in Ghana’s corporate wellness and agribusiness showcase.

Green Stay Initiatve

The Green Stay Initiative, launched by Mövenpick in partnership with Accor, is designed to highlight the intersection of sustainability, nutrition, and workforce well‑being. Unlike traditional trade expos, this initiative emphasizes the role of healthy food and eco‑friendly practices in shaping productive communities and resilient economies. It provides a premium platform for companies like OTI to demonstrate how African agribusiness can deliver both economic growth and social impact.

OTI’s participation will feature its portfolio of value‑added agribusiness products, including natural and alkalized cocoa powder, cocoa butter, refined and unrefined shea butter, shea oil, shea olein, coconut oil, baobab oil, ginger oil, and moringa oil. These products reflect OTI’s commitment to authenticity, sustainability, and innovation, while also showcasing Ghana’s potential to compete globally through value addition rather than raw commodity exports.

Founded on the principle of empowering small‑scale farmers and building generational wealth, OTI has grown from a modest e‑commerce venture into a global agribusiness exporter. Today, the company operates across nine countries, maintains a database of over 100,000 farmers, and ships to more than 40 destinations worldwide. This journey has been recognized with awards and strengthened by OTI’s leadership in policy advocacy, ecosystem development, and international trade.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Esthy Ama Asante, Founder and CEO of OTI, stated:

“We are honored to be invited to exhibit at Mövenpick’s Green Stay Initiative. For OTI, this is more than an exhibition — it is a chance to demonstrate how African agribusiness can drive sustainability, nutrition, and generational wealth. Our cocoa and shea products, alongside indigenous oils, reflect our vision of empowering farmers while delivering authentic, health‑focused solutions to global markets. As Ghana champions innovation and wellness, we are proud to stand at the forefront of this movement.”

The Green Stay Initiative is significant for Ghana because it reframes agribusiness within the context of workforce nutrition and corporate sustainability. While Ghana has hosted major cocoa and shea expos before, Mövenpick’s initiative is unique in its focus on healthy living and eco‑friendly practices within a corporate hospitality setting. This creates a bridge between policy advocacy, consumer awareness, and business innovation, positioning agribusiness as central to both economic and social development.

OTI’s presence at the event also reflects its evolving role in the ecosystem. With a well‑trained and independent team managing ongoing projects, the company is now positioned to share knowledge, coach other entrepreneurs, and expand its impact beyond its own operations. Exhibiting at Mövenpick is both a recognition of past achievements and a signal of future ambitions — to place African products at the center of global conversations on health, sustainability, and prosperity.

As Ghana continues to advance the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and promote value addition in agriculture, OTI’s participation in the Green Stay Initiative underscores its dedication to building generational wealth, retaining youth in agriculture, and protecting heritage crops. The company’s business model — rooted in sustainability, authenticity, and innovation — aligns seamlessly with the event’s mission and with Ghana’s broader vision for agribusiness transformation.
