ALOE VERA GEL: HOW TO GET RID OF RAZOR BUMPS FAST

Pure Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera is a plant in the succulent family that grows in the wild and has thick and juicy serrated leaves.

The gel found in the leaves is used topically to treat irritations on the skin or burns. Its antibacterial qualities make it an effective treatment for pimples, acne or razor bumps.

This implies that the application of aloe vera can reduce swelling. When put on a red, swollen razor bump, there are very high chances it can help reduce itching, tenderness and pain.

Since aloe also has wound-healing effects, it may help heal open razor bumps and lighten the dark spots they cause.

Research by Amar Surjushe, Resham Vasani, and D G Saple, published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology states that there are certain enzymes in the aloe vera plant that reduce inflammation when applied to the skin.

This article lists some face masks you can make using organic aloe vera gel and other ingredients from Organic Trade and Investments.

How to use aloe vera as masks

You need to clean your face by washing it with our authentic African Black Soap and patting dry with a clean cotton face towel.

Next, apply a generous amount of the aloe vera gel on the spots where your razor bump breakout is, leave the aloe vera gel on overnight, and wash it off in the morning to reduce redness and irritation.

These masks are safe for use in whichever area the bumps appear.

Aloe vera, honey, and cinnamon face mask

Combining the healing powers of these ancient treatments is guaranteed to heal your razor bumps and any other skin related blemish.

Cinnamon is popular for its effects on the skin, so is honey, which has been used in several skincare products.

Mix 2 tablespoons of OTI Raw Wild Honey and 1 tablespoon of pure aloe vera till it is easy to spread but not runny.

Lastly, mix in 1/4 tablespoon of ground cinnamon before applying the mask to your face. Leave on the skin for 5 to 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly after.

Do this twice daily for quick results.

Aloe vera and lemon juice face mask

Using a face mask with aloe vera and the citric acid-rich lemon juice will invigorate your face and leave you looking refreshed.

Lemon juice will clean your skin pores and kill bacteria that cause bumps and acne. Scientists have shown that fruit acids like those in lemon juice serve as effective cleansers for treating skin irritations.

You need your authentic aloe vera gel as the base. Add 1/4 teaspoon of lemon juice to 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel. If you need to make more, remember to keep the lemon juice ratio at 8 to 1 to avoid burning your skin with the strong citric acid content.

Apply on affected areas and leave the mixture on your skin for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing off completely. Apply shea butter or coconut oil to moisturize the area.

Aloe vera, sugar, and coconut oil scrub

Using scrubs is one of the most effective ways of treating infected skin. If you’re interested in natural remedies for razor bumps, this DIY aloe vera, coconut oil and sugar exfoliator is perfect for you.

Exfoliating your skin gets rid of dead skin cells that block pores. Raw or white cane sugar gently grazes these old cells away, thereby clearing a path for aloe vera to penetrate the skin and stimulate healthy skin growth. Coconut oil then works as a natural emollient. With antibacterial properties.

Using OTI Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil as your base, add about 1/2 cup of the oil to 1/2 cup of raw or white sugar and mix well. Mix in 1/4 cup of pure aloe vera gel for an exfoliating blend. You can store this mixture in the fridge.

To use, gently apply the mixture to the affected area and scrub gently. Rinse well with water after using. You would see the results after some days.
